Aline Mayagoitia

ALINE MAYAGOITIA is a Mexican actor and writer raised between Austin, Texas, and Mexico City. She will next be seen as Paulina in Bill Condon’s feature adaptation of Kiss of the Spider Woman, opposite Jennifer Lopez and Diego Luna, opening in theaters October 12th, 2025. On Broadway, Aline recently played Itzel in Real Women Have Curves (2025) alongside Justina Machado; the production earned two Tony Award nominations that season. On screen, she guest-starred on HBO Max’s Love Life opposite William Jackson Harper. Aline’s stage work spans fan-favorite musicals and new works, including the Boleyn Tour of SIX as Katherine Howard; Cabaret (Sally Bowles, Goodspeed); Evita (Eva Perón); Forbidden Broadway: The Next Generation (NYT Critic’s Pick); Notes From Now (Prospect Theater); A Crossing (Barrington Stage); and In the Heights (Nina). She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan and was selected for the 2021 ViacomCBS Comedy Showcase.

As a writer, Aline explores the absurdist edges of bilingual and bicultural life. A native Spanish speaker and trained dancer with a knack for musical-theatre impressions and sketch comedy, she is committed to expanding opportunities for Mexican artists in the entertainment industry.
